Thank you, ARMY. Still can’t believe we’re here on this stage with so many great artists, oh my god. ARMY, this is only possible because of the little things we shared together. The BTS and ARMY power, right? And we’re still the same boys from six years ago. We still have the same dreams. We still have the same feelings; we still have the same thoughts. Billboard Music Awards 2019
Tis’ the season again! Bangtan is back in Las Vegas, US, to attend the 2019 Billboard Music Awards, one of the largest music event in the world. The boys are up for TWO categories, TOP GROUP and TOP SOCIAL ARTIST.
Only the latter is based on voting, of which ARMY has been so actively doing, including me (!) for the past few days. The boys are up against EXO, GOT7, Arianna Grande and Louis Tomlinson for this category. This is quite refreshing because two more Korean groups are joining the line-up. More Asian representatives!
I am not familiar with TOP GROUP category, however some of ARMY noted that the biggest challenger for Bangtan is Imagine Dragons, who has huge streaming numbers along with fanbase. Its lead vocalist, Dan Reynolds, is a great singer and songwriter.
Yoongi said it would be impossible to get both awards, however they expecting to get one. YES! If they snatch Top Social Artist this year, it’ll mark their 3rd winning. (Note : I will probably gonna cry if they won!)
Anyways, expect BANGTAN’s BOY WITH LUV feat HALSEY at the 2019 BBMAs!!! This is not the first time for the song, they debuted the song at SNL (of which I need to write it on this blog!). But, this is the first time, they’re doing it with Halsey.
