Finally, get to write a bit since Wednesday! It felt surreal even now. I was already waking up at 5am for Bangtan’s red carpet on BBMAs, but, the alarm hated me so much X_X

I literally bumping into every thing waking up because I did have to work at 9am. I received the news about TOP DUO/GROUP when I was at the bus station. It felt like time had stopped. I couldn’t believe the news because, I mean, the boys were up against biggest name in the industry, or western music industry, including Maroon 5 and Imagine Dragons.

An article by Billboard also predicted that Imagine Dragons will get TOP DUO. And, they actually receive TOP SOCIAL ARTIST AWARD during Red Carpet. I mean that was really so strange. I bet Namjoon was so “discourage”.

That’s why I felt him being flustered, and the boys were like, OH MY GOD! The first main award for them, making them equal to big names, like Arianna Grande, Maroon 5, even Drake. I was as shocked as them, too.

When they jumped from the seats. Jungkook and J-Hope were jumping like kids. Seokjin was screaming. Jimin and Yoongi were ‘WE WON?’ Taehyung was like ‘What just happen?’ And, Namjoon…… You won boy. You won!

Their smiles and euphoria, especially JK’s, like I wish I can give them all happiness the world can offer. Their happiness can melt the Arctic, figuratively, the one blamed for melting is human-induce climate change.

The award is significant. From performing in 2017, Bangtan slowly proves themselves as worthy entertainers, performers, and most importantly, artists. Their strong bond and relationships with ARMYs, accompanied by positive company culture that is Big Hit Entertainment, will bring these boys to limit no one dare to cross.

It will be too greedy to talk about Grammy or anything else at the moment. But, I think it’s nothing impossible. I know they’ll be okay if not getting it, but these boys are fast learners. Them getting the chances to be at these major award shows in the US actually for them to mine all the resources, creativity along the support from the music industry.

With every thing that’s going on in the US, inclusive is taking center stage in all discussions in the country. Giving space for other voices to be heard, despite of cultural background and language difference.

Bangtan even received a shout-out from Cardi B, who was surprisingly taking the time to find the lyrics and humming alone. And, she gets it. Because, she’s a musician too. Despite of the characters, true musicians speak through music. The ‘judgment day’ should be limited to albums and concerts, their fans are the judges.

I am glad that the boys have the stadium concerts, because they don’t really dwell on the wins too long. I know they’re so excited for concerts. I have seen them live and their passions are contagious. I know how tired and exhausted that must have been. But, I felt their energy, stamina…..
